New Hope with Psychedelic-augmented Therapy
Your journey to inner balance
At the OVID Clinic Berlin, we support you on your path to mental health – with guideline therapies and modern approaches that are individually tailored to your needs.
In addition to established psychotherapeutic methods, we are the leading clinic for scientifically sound psychedelic-augmented therapies in Germany and beyond. These enable in-depth insights and promote lasting change.

How can psychedelic therapy (KAP) help in psychotherapy?
Sometimes entrenched thought patterns or deep emotional wounds block the healing process. In such cases, approaches such as psychedelic augmented psychotherapy (KAP) can help to release these barriers and open up for new perspectives.
Our KAP differs significantly from the ketamine therapy of other clinics: Experienced therapists and doctors combine these approaches with tailor-made psychotherapy to guide you gently and safely through this process.
What is ketamine?
Ketamine is a safe, well-researched medication originally used in emergency and intensive care medicine. Its ability to support the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as its direct antidepressant effect, has been scientifically proven for several years. When used in controlled medical settings, it poses few risks and side effects.
In addition to racemic ketamine, which we use intravenously, there is also an esketamine nasal spray (Spravato®), which is only used for treatment-resistant depression.

The main effects of ketamine
Rapid relief of depressive symptoms¹ – often within a few hours/days after the first treatment
Dissolving negative thought loops¹ – new perspectives become possible
Reduction of anxiety and trauma consequences¹ – particularly effective for PTSD and anxiety disorders
Promotes neuroplasticity¹ – the brain becomes more receptive to new experiences
Relief of chronic pain¹ – especially in cases of psychological pain disorders
